FDA pulls Hydroxycut diet product

23 REPORTS OF HEALTH PROBLEMS were received OVER THE POPULAR SUPPLEMENT HYDROXYCUT.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, along with manufacturer Iovate Health Sciences Inc. of Oakville, Ontario, told consumers to immediately stop using 14 Hydroxycut products marketed for weight loss, fat burning, energy enhancement, carbohydrate control and water loss.

The FDA said that it has received 23 reports of health problems including liver damage, seizures, heart problems and muscle damage. One death from liver failure was also reported.
